Sometimes even we get tired of hunting down and experimenting with technical fabrics and just want to throw on a soft and solid oxford cloth shirt. With the Northeast Pivot, we took our patent pending pivot sleeve shirt construction and did it up with an honorable oxford cloth we sourced from Spain. A killer button-down shirt with a great range of motion that you can wear every day.
- FABRIC -
A classic oxford cloth woven in Spain. Made of 100% cotton fibers, we chose this oxford for its soft hand and natural ease making it extremely comfortable for everyday wear. Our oxford cloth is made from loosely twisted yarns stacked two by two for a sturdy weave.
How the fabric is woven: All fabrics have a warp and weft. (Yarns that run the length of the fabric and yarns that run the width.) The warp is the yarn that runs the entire length of the roll of fabric. Whereas the weft yarn is woven into the warp and runs the width of the fabric. Incidentally: the weft creates a selvedge by turning back on itself.
